We Are An Erasmus+ Initiative
AgriMental is an Erasmus+ initiative that aims to enhance human sustainability and psychosocial wellbeing within agriculture, given that farmers and agricultural workers experience some of the highest levels of stress, long working hours and economic uncertainty in Europe, combined with climate-related stresses. AgriMental addresses these challenges by providing vocational education and training (VET) trainers, learners and agricultural communities with tangible resources to identify, support and enhance mental health in their daily practice.
Through nature-based therapeutic approaches, innovative digital pedagogies, and practical workplace tools, the project lessens barriers to mental health support, particularly in rural and remote settings. AgriMental offers accessible, adaptable, and inclusive educational pathways to empower agricultural workers to build resilience, wellbeing and create healthier work environments.

Objectives
AgriMental aims to achieve three main objectives, which are aimed to improve mental health literacy, strengthen VET training, and create systemic change in the agricultural context.
Develop a specialized coaching model to help VET trainers identify the psychological stressors in agriculture, recognize warning signs for learners and workers, and explore solutions with their learners and workers for better mental wellbeing.
Raise the capacity of VET learners to employ nature-based therapeutic practices, establish better workplace habits, and prevent risks associated with stress in the workplace, while promoting sustainability–human sustainability in their personal and professional lives.
To provide organizations, farms and/or authorities an operational framework to support policy and real life implementation of steps towards psychological wellbeing within agricultural working environments.
